Meet Barry Weisblatt

Before the 2002 launch of his world renowned event production company, WhiteLeaf Entertainment, Barry Weisblatt’s career began in the mailroom of the legendary talent agency, Associated Booking Corporation. Making copies and getting coffee for the owner of ABC Booking lasted about three months. When another agent in the company left, Weisblatt was given a phone, a desk, a rolodex, and instructions to start booking one of his heroes, Mr. B.B. King.

In 1990, Weisblatt left ABC booking and joined the brand new talent agency, Artists and Audience Entertainment. The company had two clients: Guns N Roses and Paul McCartney, two of the biggest artists in the world at the time. Not long after, Weisblatt “discovered” a young vocal sensation, the beautiful soul singer, Joan Osborne. Joan had no record deal at the time, but Weisblatt still convinced his boss that he needed to sign her as his first client. Two years later, Joan’s debut album, “Relish”, was nominated for eight Grammy Awards and, as they say, the rest is history.

Weisblatt spent the next ten years as a talent agent for Gov’t Mule, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Joan Osborne, and many others. In 2000, Weisblatt accepted a job with the New York concert promoter, John Scher and his company Metropolitan Entertainment. Weisblatt ran the Corporate Events division at Metropolitan Entertainment until, surprisingly, they were sold to their biggest rival, LiveNation.

In 2002, Weisblatt combined his unique credentials and creative vision to open WhiteLeaf Entertainment Group, and has never looked back. Today, WhiteLeaf has developed into what many consider to be one of the premier, boutique event production companies in the country.

WhiteLeaf Entertainment Group rebranded to WhiteLeaf Events in 2016 to more aptly convey the depth of capabilities and services offered. We proudly continue to boast one of the finest event management and production design companies in the United States.
